How to get to Koh Kood
It’s really easy: from Bangkok, you’ll be in the island in only 7 hours (in case you wake up early in the morning!) In my case, at 2pm I was already in my bungalow!
¿Where is Koh Kood? South of Thailand, here you can find a map .
The easiest way to get there is bus and boat.
You will have to take the bus in Ekkamai Bus Station in Bangkok (click here to see the map). It’s really easy to get to the station as well, so don’t worries! Considering that you would take de 6AM bus, the easiest and cheaper way to get to the station is taking a taxi.
Once there, you will have to buy a bus ticket (450 Bahts go and back) to Trat. From there, a boat will take you to Koh Kood.
The boat tickets can be bought in the bus station of Trat, and they include the taxi from the bus station to the pier, and from the Koh Kood’s pier to your selected hotel. All for 700 Bahts.

Beaches
The best beaches of the island
Beaches of Koh Kood
This is a small island, but the beaches you will find here are really awesome. Here are the ones I liked most:
– Beach right beside Taphan Cape, just in front of “Neverland Resort”
– Takhian Beach
– Ao Phrao Beach
Finding them will be easy: all hotels and resorts will give a good map to discover the island.
Getting around in Koh Kood
Best option: renting a motorbike
Motorbike rent
I met a couple that told me that sleeping in Relax Guest House, the motorbike is included in the room’s price (good deal!). I stayed in Eve House, there the bikes are rented for 250 Bahts per day.
Not many more to say about Koh Kood, just enjoy your days if you came here.
